International Day of Women and Girls in Science | United Nations
Science needs a diverse and talented workforce to help the world solve the biggest problems of the day. The UN recognizes February 11th as the International Day of Women and Girls in science to promote fair and equal access to and participation in sciences for women and girls.
UNESCO is celebrating by hosting a 5-hour online presentation by women instrumental in fighting COVID-19 through science. You can catch the session replay here: https://www.facebook.com/unesco/posts/10159105953768390
